As one of the members of the DataPortability Steering Group, I am proud to announce the start of public voting for the DataPortability Logo Contest (read the back story). The vote has officially begun, so go cast your ballot. We had over 400 submissions, which have been narrowed down to 15 finalists over the course of the last month. This task has been a herculean effort by the members of the Evangelism Group. I would like to thank Fred Oliveira, of Webreakstuff, who was instrumental in launching the voting application just in the nick of time, Michael Arrington and the folks at TechCrunch for their support and for pulling a couple of strings for us, MediaTemple for hosting, all of our sponsors who donated prizes, our judges, and of course, all of the entrants.
Now, go vote! (feel free to re-post the image above - and help us to spread the word)
